I remember my first time riding through a rapid just using an inflatable kayak; it was one of the most terrifying and exhilarating experiences of my life. A friend of mine is a very big fan of inflatable kayaks, so he dared me one time to use his inflatable kayak specifically made for white water rafting. Being a rigid kayak fan I took his dare, the next day I was on this inflatable kayak on my way to one of the fiercest white water rapid in the area. When I sat on the kayak I must say it didn’t feel like it was fragile, in fact it felt really solid. When I started riding the white water, I got scared because the kayak might pop and leave me rolling down the rapids by myself. But to my surprise it rode like a rigid kayak. In fact it rode faster because it was lighter and more stable because of the air. When I got to the end of the river I became a believer of Inflatable Kayaks.
